PANAMA CITY, FL – Dr. Anish Patel, who operates Panama City Smiles, was selected by local residents as one of the leading dentists in the bay area.
The Panama City News Herald’s Best of the Bay Awards takes nominations from readers in the area and then selects the top three finalists. The top three finalists are honored with a plaque that can be displayed at their business. The finalists include businesses in the medical field, entertainment and attractions, food, shopping and professional services.
“At our office, the patient comes first, and we invest in the latest tools to provide comfortable care,” Dr. Patel said. “We’re happy to see that our dedicated patients have had such a positive experience with our staff and services, and we’re grateful to have received such a prestigious award.”
Dr. Patel and Panama City Smiles received the second most votes out of any other dentist or dental office in the bay area. The office works with patients of all ages, from general dentistry to orthodontic treatment.
For the month of July, Dr. Patel is offering a special on braces. If patients begin their orthodontic treatment in July, they will receive a discount of more than $1,000. Traditional braces typically cost about $6,000, but this month, patients can receive their braces for $4,750. Dr. Patel said now is the perfect time for parents to start their children’s orthodontic treatment before the school year.
“The reason we have received such high acclaim from our patients is that we work with patients to create a beautiful, long-lasting smile,” Dr. Patel said. “Parents can take advantage of this incredible deal to start their children’s dental care off on the right foot.”
Panama City Smiles, 1022 Harrison Ave., offers general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry and orthodontics for adults and children. The practice uses the latest technology to provide quality dental care to its patients. Dr. Patel uses digital X-rays, which reduce radiation exposure, and intraoral cameras to teach patients about proper oral health techniques.
As a cosmetic dentist, Dr. Patel provides durable porcelain veneers, dental crowns, KoR whitening deep bleaching and ClearCorrect, a system that uses clear aligners to straighten crooked teeth. ClearCorrect is virtually undetectable and can correct crooked teeth, gapped teeth and mild bite issues.
Dr. Patel, who grew up in England, earned his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Central Florida in Orlando and then his dental degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. Dr. Patel is committed to advancing his skills in dentistry and takes more than 100 hours in continuing education every year. Following dental school, he completed a three-year program on progressive orthodontics and has extensive training in cosmetic dentistry and dental implants.
Panama City Smiles hosts Dentistry From The Heart every year, giving away thousands of dollars in free dental care to underserved or uninsured adults. The dental office treats about 100 patients during every Dentistry From The Heart event, and works with the community to provide participants free dental services.
